Gravity Director Sean Feast recently took to the stage to interview author Andrew Lownie on his new book about the spy, Guy Burgess.
The new biography, Stalin’s Englishmen, has already topped the best-sellers list, and gives an exciting insight into the world of spies and spying with a particular emphasis on the ‘Cambridge Five’.
As a fellow author, historian and biographer outside of work, Sean asked Andrew to reveal more secrets about the lives of Burgess, McLean, Philby, Blunt and the mysterious ‘fifth man’ who has never been named. The talk was given to an audience of invited guests in Chorleywood in May.
“It was a pleasure to meet Andrew and exciting to learn more about such an interesting period in our history,” Sean said. “Even those who have little or no knowledge of the infamous Guy Burgess cannot help but be fascinated by his story.”
