Gravity Global, the world’s most awarded B2B and complex markets growth marketing consultancy, has taken another step towards its ambition to be recognised as the global benchmark business for delivering high performance marketing programmes by acquiring two businesses in the US, 9th Wonder B2B and Morsekode.
The simultaneous acquisition of both agencies will provide Gravity Global with US coast-to-coast geographical reach from day one in five major cities in the US. Gravity Global now has 14 wholly-owned offices worldwide and has been named US Agency of the Year two years running.
Gravity Global’s success is driven by delivering transformational growth for its clients through its proven proprietary Attention Engine, Fame, Admiration and Belief (FAB). FAB has transformed the way brands in Complex and B2B markets harness and sustain the power of Attention Marketing to accelerate their growth. This, combined with best-in-class brand-to-demand capabilities across the entire customer journey, is what makes Gravity Global an exciting proposition for companies in B2B and complex markets.
The acquisition further strengthens and expands Gravity Global’s proven capabilities in key sectors including Technology, Energy, Transportation, Aerospace, Financial Services, Industrial, Pharma & Healthcare. The Gravity Global US business will be led by José Lozano, currently CEO of 9th Wonder. He will report to Gravity Global Group Chief Executive, Mark Lethbridge. Mark Morse is appointed a Managing Partner.
Mark Lethbridge said: “This is a very exciting strategic development for Gravity Global. The US is the dominant B2B market, and a physical presence in the region is a critical part of our growth journey. It will help to further support our customers by delivering best-in-class services so they can achieve their own growth ambitions.”
José Lozano added: “Our teams have worked closely and in partnership with Gravity Global for many years as part of its network. This now puts a formal structure in place so we can truly achieve our global ambitions and build on our joint successes to date.”
Mark Morse commented: “Over the last 20 years we have built a respected, award-winning creative and content business. By being part of Gravity Global we can elevate emotive connections for more world-class brands with a team that gives us powerful global reach.”
Gravity Global was founded in 2009 by Mark Lethbridge, Paul Anderson and Sean Feast as a network of independent operations across North America, South America, AsiaPac, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Now backed by Elysian Capital, the agency has completed six acquisitions in the last two years to extend geographical coverage and service offerings. With two more US acquisitions currently in progress, Gravity is on track to double in size (currently 300 people and $40 million in fees) this year.
Headquartered in London, Gravity Global achieved 164 industry awards in 2021 across all sectors of the brand to demand journey.
