Account Director

Overview of role

We are looking for a highly organised and methodical individual with bags of enthusiasm to join our ever-growing team as an Account Director working across innovative sectors such as fintech.

Gravity Global is the world’s most awarded B2B agency and current holders of Agency of the Year in both the UK and US, you will be joining us at a truly exciting time during a period of rapid growth. This role will be playing a lead support role working closely with one of our Managing Directors and wider agency team across a number of iconic brands with incredible opportunities for personal growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for smooth running of a number of key Client accounts, including account growth and idea generation
  • Building long-standing and trusting relationships with our Clients and key stakeholders
  • Working effectively with our integrated teams and wider agency network to ensure that campaigns are delivered to agreed timescales and in line with Client briefs
  • Commercial accountability for and development of existing Client business
  • Day to day management and development of colleagues within the team, including managing the workflow of designers and freelance resource
  • Demonstrating creative initiative to guide and champion great ideas
  • Accurate and timely financial and job management

Experience / skills required

  • Senior account handler, ideally with experience of the fintech or professional services sectors
  • Experience working with disruptor scale-up companies and/or app-based marketing
  • Proven ability to sustain and develop valuable Client relationships
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, energy, innovation, strategic and creative thinking
  • You will be digitally savvy and keep abreast of industry standards and technological evolution
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interpret a brief and add value through innovation and experience
  • Strong presentation skills and an ability to develop compelling Client strategies
  • Confident and personable with exceptional Client facing skills
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to deliver to deadlines and within budget and solid commercial awareness

Remuneration / Hours

  • Competitive Salary
  • Normal working hours from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, though a degree of flexibility will be required
  • We are all currently working remotely, however in a post pandemic world we are happy to consider candidates who wish to work a mix of working in the office and remote working
